Late Work Policy

If the homework is not completed by the due date, the student will fill in the answers in class as we correct the work. He/she then will be required to complete an alternative assignment (AA) to receive partial credit for the homework. If students elect to go to the Learning Center that day to complete/turn in the AA, they can receive up to 70% credit. If the AA is turned in after that time, up to 50% credit is possible. Students are responsible for picking up the AA at the end of class from the folder in the back of my room. Late work will only be accepted in the progress reporting period that it was assigned. For excused absences, students will have two days for each day of absence to make up their work for full credit.
